North Penn eases past Pennridge

LANSDALE - Halloween was no treat for the Pennridge Rams as they traveled to Crawford Stadium to play the unbeaten North Penn Knights. If the Rams were going to pull off the upset it was going to take some tricks. The Knights had none of it and on their Senior Night they were up 35-0 at the half and went on to win 41-21.

The Knights scored on all five on their possessions in the first half. Quarterback Justin Davey was five-for-five for 95 yards and two touchdown passes. Ronnie Akins was recipient of one score through the air and two on the ground. Akins finished the night with 106 total yards.

With the 35-0 lead at the half, mostly because of the play of the Knights front seven, led by Andrew Stoll, which allowed only 93 total yards in the first half.

With the Knights' second string in the second half, the Rams' defense recovered two fumbles and quarterback Brad Herrmann ran in for three scores.
